Llandudno Decorative and Fine Arts Society (LDFAS) is a society meeting in Llandudno for the study and enjoyment of art and culture.

It meets on the second Tuesday afternoon of each month, from September to May.

We are a member society of NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts) which was formed in 1968 with the twin aims of arts education and heritage conservation.

We implement NADFAS’s ethos by offering an annual programme of very high-quality illustrated lectures which cover a wide range of decorative and fine arts topics.

Lecturers are mainly from leading museums and galleries and some are familiar faces on BBC Arts and Antiques programmes.

Each lecturer has been stringently vetted by NADFAS to ensure that their knowledge and love of their subject is second to none and that they have excellent presentation skills.

We also organise day visits, in depth study days and other arts and culture activities.

Each lecture lasts just over an hour and there are opportunities to ask questions afterwards.
All lectures are given in English.

The Centre is open from 1.30 pm and lectures start at 2.15pm.

Members socialise after lectures when tea and coffee are available.

Non-members are welcome to attend an individual lecture for a small fee.
